Biography
Tom graduated from La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Clinical Prosthetics and Orthotics.
He is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and helping people achieve goals that are meaningful to them. Tom has a particular interest in upper limb prosthetics, sports prostheses, and complex clinical presentations. He enjoys working with individuals to maximise their function, independence, and participation in everyday life.
Tom is also passionate about embracing modern technology within clinical practice, including digital scanning and emerging prosthetic technologies, to help improve outcomes and enhance the client experience.
Emily Harrison is a Senior Prosthetist with over two decades of global expertise, specialised in advanced upper and lower limb amputee management and dedicated to improving client outcomes at oapl since 2016.

Biography
Emily graduated from Salford University with BSC (Hons) in Prosthetics & Orthotics in 2004 and spent 12 years working as a Prosthetist at St Mary’s Hospital, Portsmouth, UK, before migrating to Perth WA in 2016 to join the oapl family.
During her time in the UK, she developed her ability to treat all levels of amputation for both upper and lower limb loss and worked to become the principle upper limb prosthetist for the centre. Her other areas of interest include trans-femoral skin suction sockets, paediatric prosthetics and increasing her expertise in colour matching and casting for high-definition silicone partial hands. Emily also worked with a number of war veterans at Portsmouth and Paralympians during the London 2012 Paralympics.
In 2016, she joined the oapl team at Shenton Park, where she became an integral team member expanding on her expertise from the UK and furthering her knowledge of the management of her amputee clients here in Australia. Outside of work, Emily likes to keep active walking in Kings Park and attending regular dance and flexibility classes.
Freya is a passionate Prosthetist and Orthotist specialised in lower limb care and infant cranial remoulding, dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in Perth.

Biography
Freya graduated from the University of Salford, UK, in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After graduating, they worked as a Graduate Prosthetist in Leeds, where they gained valuable experience providing personalised prosthetic care.
Freya has a particular interest in lower limb prosthetics and cranial remoulding helmet therapy for infants and enjoy working closely with patients and their families to help them achieve the best possible outcomes. At the end of 2024, Freya relocated to Perth from the UK and is excited to continue delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while building meaningful relationships with patients.
Outside of work, Freya enjoys staying active by going to the gym, walking, and making the most of Perth’s beautiful beaches.
Ananda is a highly experienced Prosthetist and Orthotist who joined oapl in February 2026, dedicated to empowering clients through personalised solutions that enhance mobility and independence.

Biography
Ananda has been working as a Prosthetist and Orthotist for over 20 years. He graduated with a Diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CSPO) in 2002 and later completed an upgraded Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics at La Trobe University, Australia, in 2007.
Throughout his career, Ananda has gained extensive experience across clinical practice, education, and leadership. He worked in the Sri Lanka Army Prosthetics and Orthotics Department until 2018, providing rehabilitation services to military personnel and civilians. He then spent three years as a Lecturer at the School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (PSPO) Philippine 3 years under Exceed Worldwide, followed by two years as Director of Exceed P & O project in Sri Lanka, supporting the development of prosthetic and orthotic services and education. Since moving to Australia in 2024, Ananda has continued his clinical career and joined oapl in February 2026.
Ananda enjoys working closely with clients to understand their individual goals and providing personalised prosthetic and orthotic solutions that improve mobility, independence, and quality of life. He values building strong relationships with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Outside of work, Ananda enjoys spending quality time with his family and values the opportunity to relax and recharge with them.
Meg is a skilled Prosthetist specialising in lower limb and custom silicone prostheses, combining clinical expertise with creative problem-solving to optimise client outcomes.

Kayla Baum is a dedicated Prosthetist specialising in advanced lower limb solutions and microprocessor knees, passionate about helping clients regain independence through innovative technology.

Kayla Baum graduated in 2022 from The University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, with a Bachelor of Health Science with an Extended Major in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Having grown up on the Sunshine Coast surrounded by beaches and an active outdoor lifestyle, Kayla developed a passion for health, movement and helping others achieve their goals.
Now based in Western Australia, Kayla enjoys supporting clients throughout their rehabilitation journey and finds great reward in helping individuals improve their independence, confidence and quality of life through personalised prosthetic solutions. Kayla works with clients of all lower limb amputation levels and has a particular passion for transfemoral prosthetics and the use of microprocessor knees. She has a keen interest in the latest advancements in prosthetic technology and enjoys utilising innovative solutions to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through the gym, hiking, spending time outdoors and eating delicious food.

I already have an appointment at Shenton Park or Myaree - what happens now?
Nothing to worry about. Your appointment, care plan and clinical notes are all moving with you to Bentley. If your appointment falls after the move date, we’ll be in touch to confirm your new location – otherwise, simply come to Bentley instead.
Will I see the same clinician?
In almost all cases, yes. Bentley brings our Shenton Park and Myaree teams together under one roof, so you’ll continue seeing the clinicians who already know your history.
Do you accept NDIS or DVA?
Yes – oapl Bentley supports NDIS participants and DVA card holders. Bring your referral, plan details or health fund card to your first appointment.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your referral (if you have one), any relevant scans or reports, your Medicare/DVA/NDIS or health fund details, and a list of current medications. We’ll confirm anything specific to your appointment type when you book.
Is there parking at the new clinic?
Yes, we have on-site parking including clear signage and step-free access from the car park to reception.
