Join us at the upcoming 2017 AOPA Congress where we will be running a mobility workshop in conjunction with Fillauer.

This course will teach prosthetists and technicians how to choose and use the latest technology in high activity and sport prostheses to create the best solutions for individuals with transfemoral and transtibial amputations. In the afternoon, a hands-on demonstration with patients will occur at the Richmond Football Club! *(patients welcome – please contact us for details)* The workshop will cover the following topics:

  • When and when not to fit a running knee
  • Proper techniques for aligning, fitting, and fabricating posterior mount feet
  • New options for those with Symes and Boyd’s amputations
  • Which suspension systems are best for high activity patients
  • The advantages of a split keel foot and running blade
  • If there really is an “all-in-one” foot
  • New choices for paediatrics
